IMPORTANT - MEASURE CAREFULLY TO ENSURE ACCURACY FOR STANDARD AND CUSTOM SIZES. Please add 3 inches to your glass width and 5 inches to your length before choosing your size to ensure a proper fit. Available in 9 standard sizes which cover most interior windows in elementary, middle and high schools, as well as universities and colleges. We also offer custom sized shades for windows to fit any window, such as sidelights, media centers, and entrance ways.

QUICK-RELEASE STRAP: Every second counts during a lockdown. The most effective shade must be easily and quickly secured at the top AND bottom of the window. ALP Lockdown Shades feature a quick-release strap. The adhesive strip at the bottom acts as a weighted hembar to drop the shade. Our patented design features tabs that secure to the bottom of the window, requiring no extra time in the event of an emergency.

EASY TO CLEAN, FLAME RETARDANT NEXT-GENERATION VINYL FABRIC: ALP Lockdown Shades are made from easy to clean, flame retardant fabric. Simply wipe with a damp cloth. Our blackout shades are made from industrial strength polyester vinyl that is flame retardant and meets all NFPA 701-1 criteria.

EASY TO INSTALL, EASY TO USE: Unlike many window blinds and blackout curtains, no tools, hardware, mounting brackets, or drilling is required. A strong industrial hook and loop adhesive strip and tabs hold the shade in place. Simply release the strap at the top so the shade drops over the window and press the bottom of the shade in place to completely block the intruder’s view.
